DIY Coffee Table Books

While I wish I were rich enough to drop $50 a book for some Chanel books(affiliate link) to put on my shelf, let me remind you again. I am a broke college student.

I came back to reality and headed to my Goodwill. Don't get me wrong, I love to read and all, but this time I was looking for books with physical character. I knew I was going to be spray painting them, so I wanted there to still be details that stood out and made it obvious that it was still a book. I ended up with 3 ugly cookbooks and a book about getting happy.

A few coats of spray paint and some letter stickers was all it took to get the pretty books I wanted. I did cut the Chanel logo out from my Silhouette
(affiliate link), but I think regular letter stickers would be pretty much the same. What do you think?

Don't forget to show me yours! #LittleBitsofLacey

  1. This is so smart! When you said you were going to spray paint them, I wasn't sure what that would look like, but these look fabulous! So chic! :)

  2. These look really good, so neat and professional looking!

I've nominated you in the Liebster Award tag, there's a post about it on my blog! xox http://bambyfox.blogspot.co.uk/

    1. Wow, thank you! I'll check it out soon! :)
