DIY Framed Monogram

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to show you how I make these framed monograms. I made tons of these as graduation gifts and they were a big hit.

I think it looks so classy on my desk, and I am SUCH a fan of monograms. I seriously want to monogram anything and everything. (Maybe even my boyfriend and cat because you know nothing says mine like a monogram)

I started by downloading this font and opening up a word document. It's a free download!

I typed up my initials in three different text boxes.

I made sure to remove the outline and fill of the box.

I then re-sized them and moved them until they looked as I wanted them. I also added a little border around the letters.

I made sure to remove the fill of the border, and make the outline black.

Once you have everything where you want it, print it out.

I used the glass piece from my frame to center the monogram and traced around it and cut it out.

Once it was cut to size, I popped it in the frame and put it on my desk!
(oh my goodness I swear it was straight at one point..)

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo, Lacey
